Embed your username and password using the format below.

https://login.salesforce.com/?un=test%40gmail.com&pw=Password123

Example: if your username is 'Test@gmail.com' and your password is 'Password123'. Note that the @ symbol in the email address has been replaced with %40

 
Once you’ve created the link, you can login to your Salesforce.com org just by clicking it. This trick is really handy to have around. The only use cases I have for this shortcut is logging into a  Salesforce developer environment with dummy data. That said, it’s fairly helpful to not have to remember yet another password for yet another Salesforce org.  However, with the recent publicity around the Heartbleed security bug, I would like also post a few words of caution:

NEVER use the following shortcut in a production instance of Salesforce.com or any environment with real data. Use at your own risk
